Kelly Piquet almost filmed crash of Verstappen and Perez
Kelly Piquet was on hand during the Miami Grand Prix to cheer on Max Verstappen. On Instagram, she shares the best images from the weekend.
Piquet arrived at the paddock in Miami with Geri Horner Halliwell on Sunday. Verstappen's girlfriend was in Miami over the weekend to cheer on her boyfriend but ultimately saw Lando Norris walk away with the victory. Nevertheless, Piquet filmed the podium ceremony where Norris was showered with champagne by Verstappen and Charles Leclerc.
Piquet's post also includes a video from inside the car. In it, she can be seen leaving the circuit under police escort. Later that night, like Norris and Verstappen, she was at a club.
Piquet additionally almost filmed a crash of her boyfriend. Indeed, the post shows a video of the start of the race, in which Sergio Perez almost knocked his teammate out of the race. It went just right for Verstappen, and also Perez, in the end.
