Verstappen responds to F175 event audience

Verstappen unbothered by booing: 'Not worth my time'

When Max Verstappen and Christian Horner walked onto the stage at the F1 75 event in London, they were both met with a loud booing audience. Jos Verstappen said earlier in the week that Max will skip such events in the future, whether this will really be the case for the World Champion is unknown.

Although Verstappen will not be in action on the track this Thursday, he did attend the press conference. During the press session, the Dutch driver was asked for his reaction to the boos, and was also asked about his father's statements regarding his attendance to future events.

"There was any booing? Maybe I'm deaf. I don't need to really talk about it. It's not worth my time," he calmly told the press present, including GPblog. Later in the press session, all the present drivers were asked what they thought of the event, with a number of drivers commenting positively.

Verstappn gave another comment about the event. "It was absolutely fantastic," the champion responded sarcastically, after which loud laughter echoed through the room. "I haven't said anything wrong," he concluded.
