Toto Wolff speaks on feelings towards team bosses
Today at 13:11

One of the most talked-about rivalries in Formula 1 in recent years is not one between two drivers on track, but between team bosses. Toto Wolff and Christian Horner make no secret of the fact that they are not best friends and are not shy to give each other the occasional jab. During the winter test in Bahrain, Wolff did not name specific names, but hinted that certain team bosses are less suited to their role than others.

Wolff: 'It feels like a family'

On Thursday afternoon, Wolff joined the press conference at the Bahrain International Circuit, where GPblog was also present. Wolff was joined by Ferrari team boss Fred Vasseur, James Vowles(Williams), Andy Cowell (Aston Martin) and Ayao Komatsu (Haas). He praised his fellow team bosses, with whom he has worked for a long time, but shared his feelings towards some of the others.

"With these guys, I've worked so long, it feels like a family. Put the screen up here, watch a movie. So that's nice. Sensible people finally in sensible positions," Wolfff shared about how close he is with his rivals.

Asked by interviewer Lawrence Barretto which of his colleagues he finds less sensible, Wolff replied clearly yet without naming names, "There's a few others that are not sensible."
