Verstappen warns Red Bull: 'Last year it went well at first too'
F1 News

Max Verstappen seems happy so far with the feeling he is getting in the RB21, but the Dutchman does caution his team, because last year during winter testing, there were also lots of positives that did not come true in 2024.
Verstappen warns Red Bull Racing
Speaking to the press present, including GPblog, Verstappen began, "I've done half a day, but I enjoyed the driving bit. The car was quite decent to drive, to be honest. Like, in terms of pace, it's always difficult to say, but I enjoyed it. I guess that's the most important part of it. It was a bit more predictable."
Still, the Red Bull Racing driver stated, "But, around this time last year, also around here, it wasn't that bad. But I do think that the team learned a lot from last year. So now we just try to address that from last year and see how it goes when we go to Australia as well, ca ompletely different track. But so far, I've been enjoying it."
Earlier, Verstappen said he was happy with the predictability of the car, with the Dutchman even claiming that the car is better in every way than the one he used to win his fourth world title last year. However, the Red Bull Racing driver did say he wanted to wait and see, as he had only driven for half a day, with more testing to come as he gets behind the wheel of the RB21 for the whole of Friday in Bahrain.
