Sainz impresses at Ferrari: 'He has taught us a lot in that area'

Carlos Sainz is still relatively young, but the Spaniard has been driving continuously in Formula 1 since 2015. This season he earned a move to Ferrari and there he is impressing. Riccardo Adami hinted at that in the preview ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix.
"I am quite impressed that he is only 26 years old. He has accumulated a lot of experience from the previous teams he raced for, and it has given us a lot in terms of working methodology", Sainz's track engineer stated. Ferrari have already told us that Sainz is very skilled and precise during preparations and evaluations.
Sainz very fast
Sainz is one of the few drivers who was immediately competitive after switching to another team in 2020. "In these few months with us he has shown that he is very fast on the pace, we are very happy with the work we are doing to reach the best possible compromise in terms of set-up and driving style, using his previous experience with McLaren, Renault or Toro Rosso. Starting from here we are working very well together to improve our performance," the Italian continued.
The relationship with teammate Charles Leclerc is also excellent, according to Adami. "They work very well together, there is a lot of synergy between them and a positive energy comes out of their collaboration."
