The penultimate race of the season takes place this weekend in Saudi Arabia. The brand new track will be a challenge for all drivers with the high speed. Martin Brundle and Damon Hill discuss the title fight at the new circuit.

"There's nothing Lewis can afford to lose. He is the guy who can't afford a mistake or anything happen to him that goes wrong. Max is sitting pretty, but the momentum is with Lewis. That's it, pressure", Hill analyses the situation in Sky Sports' preview.

Brundle is asked by his colleagues on British television which position he would rather be in, Verstappen's or Hamilton's? "I would want the fastest car and then you can win the points and hope your teammate can steal a few off your championship rival. I think that's where Mercedes are sitting right now."

No room for error

The commentator continues: "It's been such an ebb and a flow through the season. Mercedes coming back strongly, we'll have to wait and see who is braves and who is prepared to take the most risks around this track. In the next two Sundays, we'll know the answer."

"A corner in FIA speak is something that generates an amount of lateral force. An F1 car will notice bout 14 turns, at all times the track is coming at you, throwing kerbs, corners and braking zone. I think it's scary in some places because the speeds will be so high. It's Silverstone with Monaco's walls. There are some corners were drivers have to lay it on the line, if it goes wrong, they'll be spreading their cars down the race track", Brundle says of the Jeddah circuit.
