The outcome of the race was also unclear at first. There was a safety car situation after another crash, after which several drivers came in for a pit stop. Shortly afterwards, the race was flagged off and there was some confusion about the result, but as expected, the score was based on the previous lap. As a result, championship leader Oscar Piastri was declared the winner. However, only half points are given out for the shortened race.
