Sit back and relax: Verstappen and Hamilton together at the press conference
- GPblog.com
On the track, Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton don't give each other an inch and radio chatter complaining about each other has been rampant. The podium ceremony after the Grand Prix in Saudi Arabia didn't show two buddies either - anything but.
Exciting
This makes the big press conference on Thursday ahead of the race in Abu Dhabi all the more exciting. As expected, the Formula 1 organisation has paired up both of the championship leaders for the press chat. Undoubtedly there will be verbal fireworks between the drivers, who separately spoke harshly to the microphones last weekend.
The press conference starts on Thursday at 10.30hrs UK time. Before Hamilton and Verstappen get on the podium, all the other drivers will have had their turn. Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas will speak ahead of the first clash of the weekend's title contenders.
To the Point
The press conference is opened by Kimi Raikkonen. For the Finn, it will be his last big meeting with his beloved media, as he will end his long career in Formula 1 after the race this weekend.
