Horner hits back at Hamilton: 'You didn't hear Max moaning'

Christian Horner thinks it is unfair that Mercedes blamed the FIA for the loss of the World Championship. According to the Red Bull Racing team boss the German formation also didn't make good decisions during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix as he explained in an interview with The Telegraph.
Verstappen started from pole position, but had to let Hamilton go at the first corner. The Brit then drove away quickly, so it seemed that Verstappen would have no chance. That changed after the crash of Nicholas Latifi. The Austrians had to role the dice and it played to their advantage.
Horner makes Mercedes look in the mirror
Whereas Hamilton and Toto Wolff are of the opinion that the World Championship was handed to Verstappen, Horner sees things differently. The team boss believes that both drivers have been lucky at certain times this season and therefore points mainly to the actions Mercedes themselves made in Abu Dhabi.
"Naturally, we're going to roll the dice and go for it. Max just refused to give up. You didn't hear him moaning on the radio. Every lap, he drove his heart out, then suddenly a chance presented itself," stated Horner.
"He didn't even defend. He was waiting for him more into Turn Six, but Max took him by surprise."
