Verstappen has good relationship with stewards despite 'disagreement'

Max Verstappen believes he is sometimes treated too harshly by the stewards, but the Dutchman has no real problems with those in charge, as he stated in a press conference to GPblog, among others.
The battle between Lewis Hamilton and Verstappen saw the stewards shining a brighter light in 2021. There were some questionable decisions this season, with Verstappen suffering on more than one occasion. However, the Red Bull Racing driver says he has no problems with the people who penalise him.
Verstappen and the stewards
"In general I have a good relationship with the stewards. I don't have any bad feelings about them. Sometimes I don't agree with their decisions, but that's normal in life. Not only with stewards, but also with other people you sometimes disagree", said the 2021 world champion.
The Dutchman prefers to look at his performance in order to improve in the future, rather than continue to whine about the stewards. "You can always look at yourself as a team and see what you can do next year. What worked well and what can be improved. It makes sense to look at the bigger picture", concluded the Dutchman.
