Former Formula One driver risks jail time after prank gets out of hand

Former Formula 1 driver, Jean Alesi, risks a fine and possibly jail time after a prank that got out of hand. The Frenchman had set off fireworks at his brother-in-law's office.
Alesi drove Formula 1 between 1989 and 2001 and won his first and only race in Formula 1 in 1995. Nowadays, the Frenchman is not really active in Formula 1 anymore, but he was in the news last week. His brother-in-law, who is in a divorce with Alesi's sister, got an unexpected visit.
Alesi perhaps in jail
Alesi, according to the French outlet, L'Equipe, together with his brother and son went out with large fireworks to the office of his brother-in-law in Villeneuve-lès-Avignon. Setting off by these heavy fireworks, but caused more damage than intended.
Alesi would have confessed his guilt, and indicated that it was a joke which got out of hand. The former Ferrari driver now risks a hefty fine of around 150,000 euros and possibly even jail time. The brother-in-law of Alesi would not have a problem with Jean, but has filed a complaint on behalf of his office.
