Sebastian Vettel has a special relationship with Mick Schumacher. The four times world champion even drove with Michael Schumacher in Formula 1 and after the latter's skiing accident the German often visited and spent time with Mick. Now both are driving together in the premier class of motor sport.
Meanwhile, Vettel is mostly letting his 22-year-old compatriot do his own thing. "He is a sensible, well-mannered young man who is now ready to go his own way. He is doing that very well. His work ethic reminds me of his father. I wholeheartedly wish him a car that will allow him to make more of a statement next year."

However, the Aston Martin driver still tries to help his good friend Schumacher whenever possible."You are always there for friends. That's why I don't have any competing thoughts towards him and I'm happy to pass on my experience," Vettel explained. "I'm not the type to weigh everything in a paranoid way anyway to have my own advantages and play games."
Schumacher will enter his second season in Formula One in 2022. Ferrari has re-stocked him with the Haas F1 team where he should be prepared for the real thing: racing for the Scuderia. Vettel himself drove for the Maranello based team for six seasons, but didn't achieve any great success. Nevertheless he would definitely recommend Schumacher to move to Ferrari. Vettel states that people often have the tendency to see the glass half empty when looking back at the past. The 34-year old driver doesn't like that, he always tries to see the positive side of things.
