Max Verstappen will be in action this weekend during the virtual 24 Hours of Le Mans. Team Redline announced this on their Instagram account.

Verstappen gets behind the wheel

Where father Jos will start in the real 24-hours of Dubai on January 14th, son and reigning F1 world champion Max Verstappen will also participate in a 24-hours race. However, unlike his father, the Red Bull Racing driver chooses not to get into a real car, but behind the simulator.

On January 15, the 24 hours of Le Mans will start at 2pm. Qualifying can be seen the day before at 6pm. Verstappen will share his car number #123 with Felix Rosenqvist, Maximilian Benecke and Atze Kerhof. In addition, two-time virtual F1 champion, Jarno Opmeer, will also be driving on behalf of Mercedes-AMG Petronas Esports.
