Verstappen has big advantage with Perez: 'He would be able'

Sergio Perez was crucial to Max Verstappen's win of the world title at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The Mexican held off Lewis Hamilton, allowing Verstappen to get close enough to overtake his rival at the end of the race. Damon Hill saw Perez's cleverness coming.
The teammate of Verstappen has been in Formula 1 for years and proved in that period to have many qualities. Hill noticed that last season his experience in motor racing was the deciding factor, and Verstappen was able to take advantage of that. Next year he expects more from Perez, he said in the F1 Nation Podcast
"We've seen so many drivers bounced out of Red Bull," he analyzes the situation. "I always felt that Checo, because he's had so much more experience, would be able to stand up to the forces within Red Bull that make it difficult for a young driver."
Perez must perform in 2022
However, Perez's performance last season was not great, so he has a lot of pressure on his shoulders in 2022. Several drivers have already indicated that they would like to take Perez's seat, including Pierre Gasly. The Frenchman is hoping for a renewed opportunity at Red Bull Racing.
