The Spa-Francorchamps circuit has once again shared photos of the progress of its large-scale rebuild. The images show that the run-off lanes in a number of corners will have to make way for gravel pits.
Images of the progress of the rebuild are regularly shared on the official website of the iconic circuit. The Belgian Grand Prix has been jeopardised more than once in the past, something the organisers want to put an end to with the extensive renovation.

As is clear from the photos, this is a significant investment. Not only a number of corners, but also the infrastructure and facilities will be taken into account. The iconic chalet at Eau Rouge/Raidillon already had to make way for a large grandstand with VIP lounges.
The legendary corner combination itself is also undergoing a thorough overhaul after a series of heavy crashes in Formula 2, the W Series and the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. The latest update of the circuit shows the reintroduction of gravel in a number of corners. An overview of all the photos can be seen in the gallery below.
