Ferrari CEO: 'We see encouraging signs since then'

Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna sees a bright future for Ferrari. The team had a strong end to 2021 securing third position among the constructors. Because of the rule changes in 2022, Vigna thinks Ferrari can make another step.
Third place was encouraging
Ferrari seems to be on the way back to join the absolute top teams in Formula 1. After a dramatic 2020, the team came back stronger in 2021. Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc provided a solid season that Ferrari finished third among the constructors.
The strong end to the 2021 season also caught Vigna's eye. "In the 2021 season we saw encouraging signs towards the end with third place among the constructors," he is quoted by Sky Sport Italia.
No changes at Ferrari
Vigna hopes that Ferrari can make a significant impact now that the regulations are being completely overhauled. In 2022 Ferrari will again rely on Sainz and Leclerc as drivers. Mattia Binotto begins his fourth season as team boss at the Scuderia.
