BREAKING | Norris extends his contract with McLaren through 2025
- GPblog.com
Lando Norris has extended his contract with McLaren. The young talent now has a contract through to 2025 with the British racing stable.
Lots of confidence in McLaren
Norris had already extended his contract at McLaren not long ago. In 2021, he signed a multi-year deal after a strong start to his season. With that, he would remain driver at McLaren at least until 2022, but there was also talk of a longer collaboration. Now, less than a year later, the deal has been renegotiated.
A new deal has now been agreed which will last four years and will take effect from 2022. This four-year deal will keep Norris with the Woking-based team through to 2025, with the team securing the services of the talented driver until the new engine rules come into effect in 2026. It is a clear sign of confidence from Norris, who has also been in the spotlight from other teams.
Signed on the dotted line. @LandoNorris has committed to a new four-year agreement with McLaren Racing through to the end of 2025!
