Red Bull Racing presented the livery of the RB18 to the outside world on Wednesday. The Austrian racing stable is sticking to the familiar livery and so there are not many surprises to be seen. Last year's Red Bull cars are all largely identical to each other.
What will be different with the RB18 compared to the 2021 RB16B is that Honda will no longer be seen on the chassis or the rear wing. The Japanese brand has decided to quit Formula 1, although Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez will still drive Honda engines in the coming seasons.
Red Bull has secured a new title sponsor in Oracle and the name of the American software company is also prominently displayed on the 2022 car, namely on both sides and on the rear wing. Oracle will reportedly pay Red Bull one hundred million dollars per season, a huge deal.
