Williams shares photos of real Williams car after livery unveiling
- GPblog.com
Williams had already shown the new livery, but the real car was nowhere to be seen. Until now, because the British team has shared photos of the car at Silverstone.
Just before the presentation, the news came out that Williams was only going to show the new livery and not the new car. Fortunately, the team announced soon after that they would be sharing photos of the real car as soon as possible, as they were going to test the car at the Silverstone circuit on Tuesday afternoon.
Fortunately, there were little to no differences between the livery presented and the 2022 car. It seemed that the nose consisted of two colors of blue, but that difference is not visible in the photos of the real car. Otherwise, the car is identical to the livery they had presented earlier in the afternoon.
New colors
You can clearly see the difference between last year's car and this year's car. Last year the car was mainly blue and white with orange accents, but this year it is dark blue with light blue and red accents. The different colors of blue are part of the renewal of the Williams brand and the red accents show that they are proud to be British, explained Jost Capito after the presentation of the new car.
