Ferrari showed the new F1-75 to the public on Thursday, but the Italian team's car launch did not go entirely as hoped. A photo of the new car leaked out the day before the launch and the FIA chose the same time to release a long-awaited statement about the future of Michael Masi. For Mattia Binotto, however, it was not to spoil the fun.

Shortly after the launch, the Ferrari team boss addresses the Italian fans directly. "We have put our heart and soul into this car," begins Binotto, who says he is proud of all the work that went into the F1-75.

Ferrari combative after difficult period

"We know that expectations are high and that the results have not lived up to those expectations in recent years," continues the Italian. He adds that the Scuderia has embarked on a new path in 2019 and that the team has come back stronger despite a "number of difficult moments.

Ferrari came out with a major engine update in the fall of 2021, which the team should benefit from in the coming years. "This car is the perfect expression of all the work we have done. Now it's time to take on the opposition," Binotto concludes combatively.
