Alfa Romeo, like all the teams, have completed the first shakedown with their new C42. The team also immediately took to the track with Guanyu Zhou and Valtteri Bottas behind the wheel after the launch of their official livery.
Alfa Romeo in Barcelona
On Sunday morning, Alfa Romeo presented their new car for the upcoming Formula 1 season. With that the Italian team were the last to show their new livery for the season. In Barcelona, Alfa Romeo were already in action during the winter test, but the official livery was not there yet.
After three days of testing in a camouflage livery, Bottas and Zhou were able to make some metres in the new colours at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on Sunday. In sunny Spain, the team drove 100 kilometers for the film day. With this, the team has collected additional data for the factory, with which the team can work for the next winter test from March 10 to 12 in Bahrain.
