Organisation of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix announces changes to circuit

The Saudi Arabia Grand Prix was on the calendar for the first time last season. Although it was a true spectacle on the circuit, this year the organisers have decided to change the track slightly to ensure safety.
While the drivers were lightning fast on the track, it also created the necessary risks. The drivers complained that they often could not see far enough ahead, which created dangerous situations during qualifying. The organisers have decided to respond to the criticism by changing the track.
According to Speedweek.com, changes are taking place in several corners. For example, it will be ensured that the drivers will have more visibility on the track in turns two, three, 14 and 21, while at turn 27 there will be a widening. In addition, the wall at turns four, 16, 22 and 24 will no longer be exclusively made of concrete, but in the future also of steel.
Hamilton won first race in Saudi Arabia
In 2021, Formula 1 travelled to Saudi Arabia for the first time. Viewers saw a spectacular race between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton. In the end, it was the Briton who prevailed and received the grand prize after the race.
