Wolff is no longer concerned with Horner: 'That goes in all directions'

Toto Wolff is no longer influenced by the games of Christian Horner and Red Bull Racing. This is what the Austrian says when asked about last season's struggles.
Whereas Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen battled each other on the track, Wolff and Horner were mostly busy with each other off the track in 2021. In the press conferences, the two were constantly at each other's throats and criticizing the competitor back and forth. In 2022, Wolff says he won't let himself be fooled anymore.
Wolff versus Horner
In conversation with the German Bild Wolff is asked whether he finds Horner's statements entertaining or pathetic. ''Neither of the two. His comments no longer cause me an emotional reaction, because it goes (in his case) in all directions,'' says the Mercedes team boss.
According to Wolff, you should also not be concerned with who your opponent is. ''No matter what color car the opponent has, you try to beat them. We have to stay humble. You can't win every year. For me, it's about meeting my own expectations, regardless of whether the opponent's car is red or blue,'' Wolff concludes.
