Verstappen doesn't comply with F1's wishes: 'Preferably no part of'

Max Verstappen's image about the Netflix series Drive to Survive will not change any time soon. The Dutchman believes that the series can do damage to one's image and simply portrays the wrong storyline.
Verstappen and Netflix
It is clear by now that Verstappen is not a fan of Drive to Survive. After the first season, the Dutchman stopped appearing in the series, because he believes that a version of him was portrayed in the first season that is incorrect. Verstappen falls especially on the incorrect facts and quotes that are not placed at the right time.
"You as a person, you are trying to build a brand, just by being myself. But then a series like that can just put you down completely different just because they like it like that and I think that is very wrong and I prefer not to be a part of it," said the Red Bull Racing driver at the Associated Press.
New F1 fans
Stefano Domenicali hopes to get Netflix and Verstappen to sit down at one table so that they do have another series with the reigning world champion in the future, but a lot of things would have to change for Max. "Not all, but quite a lot of things are wrong. People get the wrong idea about a certain person of how they actually are, they don’t know because they are new to the sport and they just watch the series. My opinion is not going to change."
So how best to get to know Verstappen? According to Verstappen, it is better to meet people in real life and form your own opinion. Now there is a medium in between in the form of Netflix and according to Verstappen that doesn't really help.
