FP2 continues despite explosion, teams to meet again after session

The second free practice session continues, despite the missile attack close to the track. The FIA called all team bosses and drivers together before the start of FP2 in Saudi Arabia, but there will be another meeting later this evening to discuss the situation.
The drivers will now drive for the second free practice after an emergency meeting with the FIA and teams just before the session. As a result, FP2 was delayed by 15 minutes. Several media outlets are reporting that it was a missile attack on an oil facility owned by title sponsor Aramco. The Houthi rebels have confirmed this.
Another meeting later in the evening
Telegraph reporter Erik van Haren reports on Twitter that at 19:00 UK time there will be another meeting with all team bosses and drivers. Then a decision will be made about the rest of the weekend. What exactly was discussed during the first meeting is not clear.
Chris Medland reported on Twitter that a number of drivers are uncertain about the continuation of the weekend after the attack during FP1. During the first practice session, plumes of smoke were clearly visible from the track.
