There is another new track on the calendar this year as Liberty Media has finally arranged the coveted second GP of America in Miami. Circuit Zandvoort director Robert van Overdijk was in contact with the organization there.

The organization of the Miami GP wants to take on the GP in Zandvoort as the Dutch GP last year was seen by Formula 1 as a new standard of the fan experience in F1. The Dutch organization was proud of that and noticed in conversation with the ambitious organization of the Miami GP that they should compete against each other.

Miami must become even more fantastic

At Viaplay, van Overdijk says: "Miami is going to be even more fantastic, they tell us. We had a lot of contact with Mexico in our setup last year. We looked at them like we have now with Miami itself. We're curious about Las Vegas ourselves, but we especially like to look at the party of Mexico and actually the atmosphere in Australia."

Since the Grand Prix in Austin is also always a party, much can be expected from the American event. There are four days of celebration on the program with big performances by great artists. The circuit itself also promises to be special at the Miami Dolphins sports venue.
