Schumacher also criticizes Drive to Survive: 'That would make more sense'

Mick Schumacher says it's important that the Netflix documentary series Drive to Survive stays true to true events. After the fourth season of the series, criticism from drivers expanded as the creators twisted the truth to create a more exciting storyline.
Schumacher acknowledges that the popularity of the series has brought new fans to the sport, but stresses that changes need to be made for future seasons. "It's clear that the first seasons of Drive to Survive are very interesting and dramatic," he says according to Motorsportweek.com.
However, he does think it is important that as the show progresses, the creators become more accurate in putting down facts and events and should not confuse them with comments and radio reports from other times. He says it would make "more sense" to stay true to reality. "And maybe a chronological order would also make more sense," Schumacher said.
More criticism of Drive to Survive
Previously, Max Verstappen has been critical of the series on several occasions. The reigning world champion was not happy with the way Netflix twisted the truth by editing separate moments together.
Lando Norris was not happy about it either after the creators tried for the second time to create a non-existent rivalry between him and his teammate. The first attempt was between Norris and Carlos Sainz, while in real life the former teammates have a close friendship. In the fourth season, the creators again tried to establish a rivalry, this time between Norris and Daniel Ricciardo.
