Norris convinced: 'I would still do what I did'

Lando Norris is fixed at McLaren until the end of 2025. According to Jenson Button, the contract extension was an incomprehensible choice by the British driver, but in conversation with Metro the driver makes short work of the criticism.
Norris seemed to be gearing up for a battle with the top teams prior to the season, but nothing seems to be further from the truth. The team came up short in the first two races and failed to score any points in the opening race in Bahrain.
Norris parries criticism about contract extension
It raises the question whether Norris is still with the right team. Last season the driver showed that he was a great talent, so it is to be hoped that he can compete for the world title in the coming years. Norris states in conversation with the medium that he has full confidence in his own team.
"I see a lot of stories that say I have made the wrong decision, but that is not the case," Norris says firmly. "I am happy. I have all the faith in the world that we can still achieve good things in the next few years and if I had to make that decision again, I would still do what I did."
