F1 Social Stint | Predicted rain already in Imola
- GPblog.com
After just one race, it's already time for a break for Formula 1 drivers and teams. In GPblog's F1 Social Stint, you can read what drivers and teams are doing in between the Grands Prix of Australia and Imola.
Predicted rain already in Imola
The weather forecast for the race weekend in Imola is not exactly sunny. Especially on Friday a lot of rain is expected and on Sunday there might be thunderstorms. That the forecasts are not wrong is proven by the images shared by Aston Martin from the circuit on Thursday.
Is that... rain?

Aston Martin shares images of brand new factory
Things are not going well for Aston Martin in Formula 1 at the moment. Lawrence Stroll's team is the only team that has not scored any points yet this season. Aston Martin is in tenth place and last in the championship. The team hopes, of course, to make it to the top and the investments that are being made will certainly not be lacking. A brand new factory is being built, of which the team now shows the first images on Twitter.
The walls are up, the floors are down. Work on our new factory has been relentless.

Hamilton back in the simulator
Lewis Hamilton is no fan of the simulator, but when the need arises, he gets into his virtual cockpit. Mercedes is not in good shape for 2022 and therefore needs all the help it can get to develop the W13. The seven-time world champion's Instagram account shows he is back at Albert Park to see what they can learn from last weekend.

Church bells in Maranello play Italian anthem for Ferrari
Traditionally, the churches provide a special sound in Maranello after a Ferrari victory. The Italian national anthem is then played, but with the bells of the church. It remains a special moment, especially after Ferrari had to wait years for victories.
