End of world champion comes in sight: 'I can imagine it'

Sebastian Vettel managed to win no less than four world titles with Red Bull Racing between 2010 and 2013. However, the past few years have been downhill. With Aston Martin, he hardly seems to be able to fight for the points this season, which makes Timo Glock wonder if Vettel shouldn't put his money where his mouth is.
The season already started very unhappily for Vettel. The German was told prior to the opening race in Bahrain that he was infected with the coronavirus, so he had to go into quarantine. He also missed the GP of Saudi Arabia because of this reason.
During the third race in Australia he was finally at the start. However, due to a poor qualifying, he had to start the GP from the seventeenth position. The experienced driver did his best to make the best of it, but due to a crash he did not make it to the end of the race. Glock therefore fears a desolate end for Vettel.
Should Vettel quit at Aston Martin?
"I can imagine that at some point Vettel will also lose his patience, because he himself knows how long it takes to get out of such a valley," writes the former Formula 1 driver for Sky Sports F1. "Therefore, the question arises whether he still wants to do this to himself. Now you have to wait for the next races and see how he can motivate himself and what he decides for his future."
