Wolff confident in team: 'We believe we have found improvements'

Mercedes has started the new season with a big gap. The W13 cannot keep up with the pace of Ferrari and Red Bull Racing. However, Toto Wolff believes the team has found an improvement.
From 2014 to 2021, Mercedes was the dominant team in Formula 1 and had the best performing engine on the grid. However, the switch to the E10 fuel has caused quite a stir.
According to rumours, Mercedes' engine is now said to be the least powerful on the grid, something that is confirmed by the customer teams trying to fight along at the back. McLaren, Williams and Aston Martin all seem to have gone backwards compared to 2021.
Improvement at Mercedes?
Mercedes is working hard to find solutions. "We believe that we've found improvements with the E10 fuel. The Brixworth team are doing a good job. At the moment the fact that we have too much drag does not help it", Wolff says according to Nextgen-Auto.com.
