Pirelli has announced the first dates for its 2023 testing program, after the tyre supplier initially encountered problems fitting test days into this year's tight schedule. In order to test the Formula 1 tyres for 2023, four teams will have to stay in Imola a little longer.

In the week following the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, the first tire test is scheduled. For that AlphaTauri, Alfa Romeo, Alpine and Ferrari will have to extend their stay in Imola by a few days.

According to Motorsport.com Alpine and Ferrari will both participate in only one test day: like Red Bull Racing, they have chosen to spread their two test days over two different circuits. AlphaTauri and Alfa Romeo both set their test days at the Imola circuit.

For Red Bull Racing, the first tyre test takes place at the Red Bull Ring, after the weekend of the home race in Austria. Max Verstappen's team will conduct the second day of testing at Monza on September 13.
