Sergio Perez is doing satisfactorily at Red Bull Racing. Last season he was criticized for his performance, but this year he is performing well. He also has a good feeling about his role at the Austrian racing team, he says in conversation with Beyond The Flag.
For a long time in 2021, the Red Bull driver did not manage to stay close to his teammate Max Verstappen. However, that changed at the end of the season. For example, during the final race in Abu Dhabi, he managed to be of great value by thwarting Lewis Hamilton.
"Although it was he who won it, it was really special for me to be able to help him," says Perez, who is very enthusiastic about the RB18. "I think it’s a great car. We’ve certainly been very competitive since Day 1."
