Verstappen positive despite qualifying mistake: "The car is competitive"

This weekend has been a weekend of problems for Max Verstappen. In FP1 everything seemed to go well, but in FP2 the Dutchman's gearbox had to be replaced, limiting the World Champion's running. Nevertheless, he will start from third place for the Miami Grand Prix tomorrow.
In the Press conference at the end of qualifying, the Red Bull Racing driver looks back at the decisive moment in Q3. While on provisional pole position, he lost control of his car at Turn 5, spoiling his lap. Both Ferraris managed to improve their time and therefore start the race from P1 and P2.
Verstappen has hopes for the race
"It was bit of a weird moment to lose the car but again, it's just not really knowing the limits, I guess, and just trying a bit more. Then yeah, suddenly it snapped in Turn 5 and I tried to keep it on the road but that didn't really work." Verstappen could do nothing but let the drivers behind him pass him and settle for the third starting spot.
Nevertheless, the Dutchman is satisfied, because with the limited amount of data they did not know if the setup is fast enough to attack Ferrari. Qualifying confirmed that racing is possible on Sunday. "I think overall the car is competitive. We have good top speed again, I hope that is something which can help us."
