Haas team boss Guenther Steiner hopes that his drivers will get through the upcoming Formula 1 weekend in Baku unscathed. Should any damage occur to one of the cars, he fears the team will face a major logistical challenge.

Immediately after the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, the F1 teams travel to Canada, where the next race is scheduled just a week later. Damage to the VF-22 of Mick Schumacher or Kevin Magnussen would add to the challenge for the mechanics, who had their hands full with Schumacher's car after the Monaco Grand Prix.

Steiner hopes to leave Baku without damage

"It's a long trip and the team is working very hard to get it all done," Steiner said in a Haas press release. "If you have any damage on the car, it gets more difficult so we're hoping to not have any damage in Baku."

For the 2023 season, Steiner hopes to see some organizational improvements. The idea is to combine races at the regional level to avoid unnecessary travel back and forth.
