Verstappen darts Hamilton: ''Any porpoising issues on it?''
- GPblog.com
Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton sat next to each other during the press conference prior to the Canadian Grand Prix. The Dutchman managed to put his former rival to the test once again.
The main topic prior to the Grand Prix weekend in Montreal is porpoising. This topic has dominated F1 all season, but with the FIA 's new 'technical directives' the discussion has flared up again. Where one driver is a supporter of the new rules, Verstappen certainly is not.
Verstappen jokes about porpoising
The Dutchman has already expressed his dissatisfaction with the new rules and could not resist making a joke about it during the press conference. When it came to the arcade racing game Ayrton Senna's Super Monaco GP II that Hamilton had played last week, Verstappen couldn't hold back.
''Any porpoising issues on it?", the Dutchman joked toward the seven-time world champion. Hamilton could laugh about it and indicated that it did not bother him. The Briton clearly did suffer from it in Azerbaijan, when he got out of his W13 very laboriously after the Grand Prix.
Lewis Hamilton has been doing some retro gaming since getting to Montreal - he wanted Mario Kart, but has been playing the Senna game instead, and says he's not very quick
