Sergio Perez wants to take the good feeling of the British Grand Prix to Austria, he said in Red Bull Racing's press release. The Mexican expects the spectators to support the team in the race.
Perez had a tough weekend in England that ended well for him. The driver had to start the race from fourth position, but then managed to drive up to second place. It earned him eighteen points in the world championship.
"I’m coming off the back of a very pleasing result at the British GP," Perez stated. "I always say never give up, and this was the case at Silverstone. We hadn’t had the best weekend up to that point with the car but in the end I managed to get on the podium and we all need to be proud of that."
Perez expects lots of support in Austria
However, Max Verstappen's teammate knows better than anyone that a whole new weekend awaits him in Austria. While he understands that he and his team will have to work hard to deliver a top performance, he expects the fans to help them out considerably.
"You feel that the minute you enter the circuit, the Team get incredible support there. I am looking forward to this weekend massively, I think it’s safe to say we’ll be the most supported Team and we want to give the fans something back."
