Verstappen and Hamilton laugh at Ferrari: "They were on the hards?"

Ferrari again opted for an unusual strategy during the Hungarian Grand Prix. After the race, Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen and George Russell laughed together about the choice of the Italians.
Ferrari looked to be in good shape with a P2 and P3 in qualifying, yet Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc both finished off the podium. The Italian team opted for a questionable strategy again.
Leclerc was put on hard tyres, but this turned out to be a big blunder. The Monegasque had to come in for a third pit stop to change to softs, which ultimately left him only sixth. Leclerc will miss out on important points in the championship again after going home with zero points in France due to his crash.
Hamilton reacts surprised
After the race, Hamilton reacts surprised in the Cool Down Room. "They were on the hards?", the Brit asks his fellow drivers, to which Verstappen and Russell laughingly reply: "Yes!"
Hamilton and Verstappen also discuss the start of the race. The seven-time world champion says he was unable to hook up at the start as he was stuck behind Lando Norris for a long time. The Dutchman also confirms that he was completely enclosed. "You did catch up with us very quickly", Hamilton finishes.
