Perez wants to come back stronger after summer break: 'Lost track a bit'.

Sergio Perez thinks he has lost track in the last few races. The gap between the Mexican and team-mate Max Verstappen is wider than before, but Perez hopes to come back stronger after the four-week summer break.
Perez came through the field in Hungarian Grand Prix alongside winner Verstappen. The Mexican started from P11 and went for the two-stop, but actually the original plan was to stop only once. Perez didn't make the most of his stint, so he had to come in for a second pit stop anyway.
In the closing stages of the race, a virtual safety car came out due to Valtteri Bottas' parked car, causing the Mexican to lose a lot of time. As a result, the Mexican lost a lot of time to George Russell and Carlos Sainz and was ultimately unable to fight for a podium finish. Nevertheless, Perez's P5 finish leaves him just five points behind Charles Leclerc in the driver's championship.
Perez: 'Important to come back strong'
Perez feels his first half of the season has been mixed. "A couple of reliability issues, but other than that I think that there are some positives to take from this first half of this season. But I certainly believe that we’ve lost a bit our track in the last couple of races, so it will be very important to come back strong for the triple header", he is quoted by Formula1.com.
