Hamilton confesses: 'I don't like driving'

In an extensive article in Vanity Fair Lewis Hamilton gives an interesting insight into his life. The Briton, who scrupulously keeps his private life out of the public eye, makes a remarkable confession.
The journalist of the magazine says in the article that he sat in Hamilton's car. Where a nice sports car was expected, Hamilton turns out to drive around in a small electric Smart car, made by his team's parent company, Mercedes. Moreover, the seven-time road champion is a very reserved driver.
Traffic causes stress
More than once he stops to let impatient road users pass, he never speeds. Then Hamilton says he does not really like driving. At least, not this kind of driving, with cars coming from two directions and a lot of things you have to watch out for in traffic.
This is why Hamilton hardly ever drives a car in his spare time: "I just think that I find it stressful," he says. "I try not to do things that don’t add to my life." The proof follows a few minutes later. Hamilton finds the road too crowded and decides to turn around immediately, back home.
