Hamilton wants to relive GP Netherlands: 'Have opportunity to fight Max'

Lewis Hamilton crossed the finish line in fourth place at the Dutch Grand Prix on Sunday afternoon. At the halfway point of the race it even looked as though the Briton might be in contention for a win. In conversation with The Mirror Hamilton regrets that this did not work out.
The seven-time world champion had some tough battles with Verstappen last season. Whereas the Dutchman has been better for the time being this race year, Hamilton hoped to fight with him again at Zandvoort. In the end, he did not manage to hold his position.
"Yeah, I mean, dying to get back in that race and have the opportunity to fight Max but the day hasn't come yet," he revealed afterwards. "It's been such a rollercoaster ride this year, you know, and this was such a good race. The car was feeling better than it felt all year long. And obviously with a difficult race last week."
Mercedes battles rival Ferrari
With seven GPs to go, Mercedes still have something to fight for. A new world title can be put out of the mind of the German formation, but in the constructors' championship the second final position beckons. The difference with competitor Ferrari is only thirty points in favour of the Italians.
