Horner has wish: "Could only wish to inflict that amount of pain on Wolff"

Red Bull Racing saw Max Verstappen take victory in the Italian Grand Prix for the fifth time in a row. The Austrian team is doing excellent business in both the World Championship and the Constructors' Championship. Christian Horner hopes his team can maintain this in the coming years, although he fears it will be difficult.
"I think the whole team has delivered at such a high level," Horner told Sky Sports after the race in Monza. "The championship is looking healthy but it's never done until it's done. There are no plans for a lighter chassis. Singapore is a different challenge to hear. Ferrari will be strong there. Max is on fire at the moment."
Horner hopes for dominance
Red Bull's season is beginning to resemble the Mercedes period. For years from 2014, the German formation managed to dominate both championships and make it virtually impossible for the competition to fight for wins.
Verstappen's lead in the world championship has now increased to 116 points, bringing the second world title in his career closer. Moreover, Red Bull has scored 139 points more than Ferrari this season.
However, Horner does not know if Red Bull can match the Mercedes years. "I could only wish to inflict that amount of pain on Toto for the next 8 years. It's highly unlikely. We've had a wonderful year so far. Ferrari are quick, Mercedes are sorting themselves out," he added.
