De Vries prepares for conditions Singapore

Nyck de Vries took the wheel of Alexander Albon's Williams in Italy at the last minute. An official confirmation that Albon will be there again in Singapore has not yet been made. Therefore, De Vries is preparing for a possible second appearance.
De Vries trains in remarkable livery
De Vries previously drove a free practice in Formula 1 with Mercedes in 2022 and was on the track at Monza for the second time with Aston Martin. Before qualifying for the Italian GP weekend, fate struck for Williams driver Albon, who had to go to hospital for an appendectomy. De Vries was allowed to take a seat in the Williams and eventually ended the weekend with a P9 finish. After his strong performance, the Dutchman immediately caught the eye of F1 teams who are still looking for a driver for next season.
Although Albon has indicated that he is doing much better again and is preparing for the Singapore GP weekend at home, the Briton concluded his message by saying that he hopes to be there. There is no confirmation of Albon's return yet. Therefore, there is still a chance that De Vries will get a second chance to show his worth. Indeed, like other F1 drivers like George Russell and Daniel Ricciardo, the Dutchman is preparing for the hot temperatures in Singapore during his practice sessions. De Vries can be seen in what he says is a Nordic outfit. De Vries wrote at his story on Instagram: "Singapore preparation."

Second chance for De Vries brings great pressure
A second chance in an F1 car would be the ultimate chance for De Vries to prove he deserves a permanent seat. De Vries beat teammate Nicholas Latifi in Italy and showed he was faster one-on-one. In contrast, any disappointing performance in Singapore could completely destroy his reputation he built up in Italy.
