Fernando Alonso qualified fifth in Singapore on Saturday, but was unable to cash in in the race. Due to engine problems, the Spaniard had to stop before the end of the race, leaving him and Alpine empty-handed. On Instagram, Alonso elaborates on his weekend.

The two-time world champion may be elderly, but he still manages to perform. For instance, he managed to finish in the points in 11 races. At the same time, he had to deal with four dropouts, which made him lose a lot of points for his feeling.

"Another great weekend on performance point of view without a reward in points (more than 60 already)," Alonso writes. "The good thing is that next weekend we will try again, and hopefully help the team with good points in one of my favorite tracks."
