Hamilton reviews his Friday in Japan: “It's been pretty dull"
With a rain hit Friday in Suzuka, it was Mercedes who managed to get their car to the top of the times sheets. Hamilton was able to grab P2 behind his teammate George Russell but despite the good result, Hamilton still remains realistic about the rest of the weekend.
"Looking to tomorrow, I don't really know what to expect. I guess Ferrari and Red Bull will be rapid, and I hope that we are fast too - like I do each week," Hamilton told Sky Sports.
"It's been very chilled. It's been grey and wet, with a little bit of running, but we expect different conditions for the rest of the weekend."
At a track he's won at 6 times, Hamilton will hope that that gap to Ferrari and Red Bull in representative conditions can come down once again, as he looks to grab his first race win of the year.
