Marko sees Perez's form improving: 'There are no weaknesses at Red Bull'

Helmut Marko believes Red Bull Racing no longer have any weaknesses. Max Verstappen is taking victory after victory, while Sergio Perez is getting better and better. The Red Bull advisor hopes the team can achieve a double podium in Brazil.
Perez managed to overtake George Russell for P3 at the start of the Mexican Grand Prix. In the end, the Mexican could not overtake Lewis Hamilton for third position, but that was partly due to a slow pit stop. Marko regrets that Red Bull did not achieve a one-two, but the team has two more chances to achieve that again.
"It's a pity Checo's stop went wrong, otherwise it could have been a one-two. Ferrari was surprisingly weak. In the first practice we thought they were better, but they will definitely come back. Checo's form is improving. There are really no weaknesses with us," the Austrian told ServusTV.
Brazil's circuit should also suit the Red Bull car well. "It would be nice if we can get a one-two there as well," he said. Speaking to Viaplay, Marko also revealed that the team wants to further extend Max Verstappen's record. With his 14th win in Mexico, the Dutchman holds the record for most wins in a single season.
Red Bull had better strategy than Mercedes
"We were worried here because with the altitude the drag is not such an issue anymore. That's why Mercedes was so strong. The decisive factor was our tyre choice, which was the better one. We did well on the softs, with the mediums there was no problem at all," Marko said.
