Will Mercedes make a change this year? 'Nice to think about'

Mercedes have been increasingly impressive over recent race weekends. Whereas the German formation was mainly in the sub-top in the first half of the racing year, Lewis Hamilton and George Russell are increasingly on the podium. David Tremayne is hoping for a fine end to the season, he writes on Formula1.com.
Toto Wolff's team suffered from porpoising for months, losing a lot of track time. After the FIA came up with additional regulations to remedy this, along with W13 car upgrades, Mercedes' performance improved and they managed to catch up with Ferrari.
Mercedes battle with Ferrari for second place
The Italian formation seem to be working hard for next season, but Mercedes are doing anything but that. With two Grands Prix to go, they still have the possibility of taking second place amongst constructors and, moreover, want to try hard to get another victory.
Mercedes were close to victory on several occasions in recent race weekends, but they always came up short. With the races in Brazil and Abu Dhabi, they have two more opportunities to take a win and thus go into next season feeling good.
"I’m still expecting Max to increase his new records of 14 wins and 416 points in a single season," the journalist states. "But it’s nice to think we might see a pair of three-horse races to end what’s been a very one-sided year."
