Aston Martin has good news: Drugovich debut in Abu Dhabi
- GPblog.com
Felipe Drugovich will be on display at next week's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The Brazilian will make his appearance in the first free practice on the final weekend of the Formula 1 season, the team itself announced on social media on Thursday.
The Formula 2 champion has recently been under contract to Aston Martin. Drugovich will be the reserve driver at that team next season and will try to develop further that way. However, Aston Martin decided to give him the chance earlier than expected.
Whereas he was on display at Silverstone just last week to cover three hundred kilometres, in Abu Dhabi he will get the chance to show himself in free practice. For whom he will replace there, the team is not announcing for now.
NEWS: @FelipeDrugovich got his first taste of #F1 power last week, completing over 300km in the AMR21 at @SilverstoneUK.

Vettel ends career in Abu Dhabi
Sebastian Vettel will experience his last race weekend in Formula 1 for Aston Martin in Abu Dhabi. Drugovich is therefore most likely to be the replacement for Lance Stroll. Indeed, the Canadian will race again for the British squad next season.
