Kevin Magnussen surprisingly took pole position for the sprint race in Brazil. This puts the Haas driver ahead of teammate Mick Schumacher in the mutual qualifying duels. How are the rest of the Formula 1 grid scoring?

Max Verstappen once again runs ahead of teammate Sergio Perez, while Charles Leclerc loses a point to Carlos Sainz. The same goes for Lewis Hamilton, who saw George Russell finish ahead and had no chance to improve on that time after this.

At Alpine, things are getting exciting again, although Fernando Alonso has already won the mutual qualifying duel. Esteban Ocon is closing in on a point and, like Mercedes, keeps the standings as even as still possible.

Among the rest of the field, there are few surprises, with one exception: Guanyu Zhou runs a point ahead of Valtteri Bottas. At the same time, Sebastian Vettel, Kevin Magnussen and Alexander Albon score another point over their teammates.
