Sergio Perez finds it incomprehensible that Max Verstappen did not let him pass him at the Brazilian Grand Prix. According to the Mexican, he has done enough for his teammate over the past two seasons to be allowed to ask for something in return, he told Sky Sports.

While Verstappen already managed to take the world title on the race weekend in Japan, Perez still has something to fight for. Indeed, the driver is fighting with Charles Leclerc for the second final spot in the rankings, with the men staying close together.

Anger at Perez is high

In the Brazilian race, Perez let his teammate pass with the agreement that Verstappen would give that spot back if he did not get past Fernando Alonso and Charles Leclerc. Verstappen eventually decided not to do that, which caused Perez to get angry.

"I was told to let him by and that was going to get the back the position. I don't know what the communication was with him and on his side. No idea. maybe you should ask him about it," Perez reacted to Sky Sports.

"Nothing to say really after all I done for him, it's a bit disappointing to be honest. I have no idea. I am really surprised. We will try. We were definitely done of pace this weekend. So hopefully, we can come back to our usual pace this weekend."
